Alamo Music Center | Taylor Builder's Edition 652ce Demo & Review | Our Favorite Taylor 12-String
Chris McKee is back to showcase one of our favorite new guitars from Taylor, the 652ce. This Builder's Edition 12-Fret 12-String packs some incredible aesthetic appointments, from its Wild Honey Burst, soft satin finish, spruce/flamed maple combination, armrest bevel, chamfered binding, and compound carve cutaway-- all of the luxury we've come to expect from Andy Powers' Builders Edition guitars. It also brings some very welcome improvements to the common pitfalls of the 12-String; the V-Class bracing helps with the intonation and sustain, the shorter scale length and lower bridge placement helps with warmer tonality, and the bass-first string order helps you pack a punch with your down strums. Add a set of beautiful Gotoh 510 Tuners, and you've got a whole list of reasons why the 562ce is our favorite Taylor 12-String yet.
